I commissioned Jax Design recently to produce a picture of my three year old daughter after being so impressed by her portfolio. I have never commissioned an artist before so wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the little photo I sent. I have had photos professionally produced in the past but I felt they never really captured her personality and I wanted something more than a straightforward likeness. I pointed out one image and medium in her portfolio that I felt had the required delicacy to capture my daughters likeness and then just left the rest to Jax Design and waited. I was firstly astonished by the proof that was sent through and then further delighted when I received the original, simply beautiful. The clincher I suppose if you needed it are her very affordable rates, which makes commissioning Jax Design for further work a very easy decision for me.

I decided to ask Jacquie to draw a picture of my late dog, as a way of remembering him. I asked for watercolour but when Jacquie saw the photograph i sent her, she asked me (very politely) whether i would consider pastel&pencil instead as she felt it would suit him better. I agreed and when I went to collect the picture I was simply stunned, she had definitely made the right decision and I am very glad that she bothered to ring and ask me as the resulting picture was just perfect. She had managed to capture him in every way, and the picture was beautiful. Not only this, but whilst Jacquie was doing the picture for me she kept in touch, let me know what was happening every step of the way and was very friendly. If anyone was considering getting a commission done I would highly recommend Jax Design.

I asked Jackie at Jax to draw a picture of my late grandparents for my mum and dad, from a really old photograph. The result was truly exceptional. Would recommend for any illustrations required.

I contacted Jackie with regards to doing a portrate of my partners much loved dog as a birthday present. The illustration that Jackie produced is the little Black and tan Jack Russell on her pictures above. As you can see Jackie produces drawings and paintings to the highest quality as well as providing a friendly and step by step view of how the portrait was coming along. i intend to use Jackie again in the future and would reccomend her to anyone who wants something special recorded in a unique and beautiful way to use this lady and her very special talent.

Jax Design draw a picture of my nephewʼs dog as a wedding present. It was fantastic. All she had to work from was a photograph of the dog and a photo of the background and produced what Daniel and Kerri said was "the best wedding present"

Jax Design has drawn for me a picture of my Father which I am extremely happy with. I had the choice of different materials that she could use and was given advice as to which was best for the type of picture I wanted.

Jacquie has drawn a picture of my parents as a surprise gift from me to them for coming to England to visit us. The result was just perfect. All jacquie had to work on was 2 small passport photos and she put them together and the drawing has really captured my parents personality. I am extremely happy with it and my parents were very happy with the picture as a surprise gift for them too. if anyone requires any drawing I would highly recommend Jacqueline South.
