How To Commission

Placing a commission is as easy as 1, 2, 3…

Step 1 – choose photographs of your chosen subject/subjects. No sittings required so very convenient! Combine several photographs in one picture and delete unwanted elements.

Step 2 – arrange to meet Jacqueline or send her the photographs in the post or by email. She will then contact you to confirm the style and price.

Step 3 – pay a deposit, and thats it! We even take credit cards to make it even easier! Once finished, Jacqueline will contact you to arrange collection and final payment.

When placing a commission, a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required. Once the illustration has been completed, a jpeg of your work can be sent to you to show you the end result before collection. The balance will then be required on collection. Payment can be made by credit card or cash.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

If you are not totally happy with the final result, you will not be required to pay the balance. Jacqueline would keep the illustration as a further sample of her work; since starting in 1993, she has not kept any work.

Full colour illustrations in pastel or watercolour – from £499

This cost will vary due to the amount of detail within the subject. For example a brick building would be more than a plain building; a heavily ‘fluffy’ animal would be more than a plain one. At present, portraits are not offered in watercolour.

Prices are based on a finished framed illustration of around 20″ x 16″. You may request a larger or smaller illustration and a price would be worked out for you. If the style chosen does not allow for a smaller illustration, Jacqueline will advise you.
Prices are based on good photographs being supplied. If you are unsure if your photographs are good enough to use, please send them to Jacqueline and she will tell you if they are useable. All photographs supplied will be returned.
If you require more than one study per illustration, please do not worry about supplying one photograph with it all in – send photographs separately and Jacqueline will put them together for you and send you a jpeg layout for your approval before proceeding.
A lovely Oak frame and neutral mount are included in the prices, if you require a particular style of frame please contact Jacqueline, there may be an additional charge for this.
Due to problems with possible breakage in the post, framed illustrations will need to be picked up, or delivery to be arranged.
Should you need to stick to a certain budget, please contact Jacqueline to discuss this – she will be more than happy to try and sort out something for you.
